DetailsThis collection captures a dramatic transformation where the dense weight of the earth surrenders to the fluid, unpredictable rhythms of the deep ocean. Each hand-sculpted piece evolves from a structured, textured base, reminiscent of calcified sea structures or ancient petrified wood, before erupting into explosive, delicate folds.
The vibrant, crystalline pooling of deep cerulean, fractured turquoise, and bruised copper glazes mimics the bioluminescent energy found only in the ocean's midnight zone. By freezing the chaotic movement of liquid clay into permanent, fragile ripples, the collection explores the delicate balance between structural permanence and organic decay.
